Then dive into a cross-section of the Earth to understand the origin of magma, learning how it forms under the effect of heat and pressure, and how it finds its way to the surface. You will then see how hot, fluid magma gives rise to spectacular lava flows, with demonstrations and videos illustrating their speed and impact on the landscape.
